Guys and girls, you’ll be pleased to know that you’re not short on options when it comes to supporting New Zealand fashion designers in Wellington. For stylish threads and shoes and an all-round excellent shopping experience, head along to the World store and get amongst

The Service Depot

Clothes.

If you like fashion, you’ll like The Service Depot. A boutique fashion store, here you’ll find clothes from a selection of New Zealand’s best fashion designers – Deadly Ponies, Miss Crabb, Nom*D, Lonely Hearts, Stolen Girlfriends Club…the list goes on

Big Bad Wolf

Blackboard.

This is a Big Bad Wolf that is in fact a very good Big Bad Wolf! Not a place where you will find Little Red Riding Hood and her grandma, but a place where you’ll find some of the best sausages and charcuterie goods in Wellington. In fact, this place is Wellington’s first dedicated charcuterie

Coffee Supreme Hopper Street

Making coffee.

Café Supreme Hopper Street is a tiny espresso bar sitting in front of Supreme’s roasting and distribution hub. Small in size, big in everything else – expect delicious, unfaultable coffee (made of course using Coffee Supreme beans); superb service from staff who know their shit about coffee and a smell that will do nothing to get rid of your immense craving for a good coffee

The Hangar

The cafe.

Stepping into Flight Coffee’s The Hangar is a bit like stepping into a boys’ den. Aptly in keeping with the flying theme, The Hangar is a big, roomy and industrial space. A bit like an airplane lock up.

Of course, as one could only expect from the Flight boys and girls, the coffee here is superb, and a bit like at Memphis Belle down the road (The Hangar’s baby sister or brother, whichever you want to roll with) there’s a chance to give coffee brewing and drinking methods like the Chemex or syphon a whirl if you’re a bit over your daily long black
