Coopers & Co is a café and deli that would be quite at home in any small rural town – its offerings are hearty and wholesome. The food is prepared before your eyes, and the serving area is littered with quirky vintage kitchen items.
The food is enticing and delicious – beautiful looking salads, pies, and a large assortment of cakes and other sweet treats are available. Also on offer is Coopers & Co’s hearty Bangers and Mash lunch – certainly the kind of tucker you’d expect from any good Kiwi kitchen. Enjoy your meal at beautiful large, shared tables, topped with vases of flowers, big water jugs and cute little mismatched water glasses.
In addition to the café fare, Coopers sells a large variety of deli style and artisan products, sourced from local producers – homemade relishes and chutneys, sausages and other small goods, fresh pasta, delicious bread (made by Vic’s Bakery) and other specialty food products. There are even freshly cut flowers for sale, fresh produce and a small selection of kitchen items and cookbooks.
Coopers & Co is a neat little slice of rural Kiwi life in the middle of a city, making quality food products and the kind of fare and service that you expect from good rural Kiwi women available to be enjoyed.
