Milou is one of the latest shopping additions to Sumner. With a big focus on New Zealand designers (the owner is a designer herself), Milou is a place to keep a close eye on. You will find clothing (both second hand and new) and kitschy gift options like soft toys in the form of monsters and bunnies, tin robots and duck heads mounted to the wall (designed by the costume designer at Christchurch’s Theatre Royal) … all glistening temptingly from the large window. Milou – it’s uniformingly good.
