Seven Café has quickly earned the title of one of Upper Riccarton’s best cafés, and is regularly packed with workers, locals and students alike.
Seven Café has an interesting brunch and lunch menu, as well as a chocker block cabinet full of beautifully presented café fare. The selection of cakes and muffins is mouth-wateringly impressive. Their coffee (made from Coffee Supreme beans) is excellent, and they have a large variety of tea on offer, as well as a small but well-chosen selection of wine and beer.
The café is warm and cosy, with stylish décor. In addition, seats outside in the garden centre area are available. It’s very friendly and relaxed at Seven Café; so relaxed that you hardly even notice how busy the street is outside. Big windows overlooking the street mean that the sun pours in which makes a late afternoon coffee with some chocolate caramel slice and a magazine a real treat.
Seven Café is well worth a visit for lunch or a coffee. The venue can also be booked for private night time functions, and catering is available.
