Whether it's lunch, dinner or brunch, you can expect exceptional service from the crew, who know how to look after every guest who walks in through the doors. While the atmosphere is casual, and you'll fit in whether you rock up in your boots and shorts or come in dressed to your best, everyone is treated with the same quality care.

A self-proclaimed gastro pub, Cleavers Corner takes the preparation of its pub grub just as seriously as it does the service it offers. This is not an everything deep-fried kind of pub, no, and while everyone loves a good bowl of chips with a nice cold beer, it's all about quality regarding the menu items. There are burgers, tacos, and sirloin steak, but there are also items like chilli prawn and chorizo spaghetti or vegan bruschetta.

The beer of choice here is Emersons, a range you'll find on tap. Of course, the classics are served as well to keep the crowds happy. Plus, there are a bunch of limited-edition cans to choose from. The wine list consists mainly of New Zealand wines.

Cleavers Corner has a big community focus and sponsors several local sports teams. It's a community hub of a kind, a meeting place, one of those spots that works for any occasion and for everyone.
