Some of the finest coffee in town since 2010, Wellington's Customs is the flagship café co-owned by Coffee Supreme and their long-time employee, Tim Norriss.
The espresso menu is simple, serving Coffee Supreme's namesake blend, Supreme, alongside a range of single-origin batch Fetco filter coffee and iced drinks. If you're brewing for home, there's a range of equipment like Hario and Chemex available, as well as lots of different coffee to experiment with from the comfort of your own kitchen.
To accompany your brew, there are epicurean toast options which change with the seasons, all of which are served on freshly baked bread from Wellington Sourdough. Delicious gourmet doughnuts from Porno Doughnuts are also available alongside a range of baking and sweet treats.
The café itself is small but inviting, with different seating options, wood-panelled interior and mellow beats filtering throughout the space. It's a bustling spot, and with good reason! Customs is also well-positioned to take full advantage of Wellington’s erratic morning sunshine, so the outdoor seating and window positions are hotly contested.
